WHAT IS THE SUGAR SWAP?

You’ll replace refined and ultra-processed sugars with real, natural sweeteners like unpasteurized honey and pure maple syrup.

Why? Because these natural options offer antioxidants, micronutrients, and smoother energy without the big spikes and crashes. And after the holiday season, this gentle reset just feels good.

WHY SHOULD YOU Sugar swap?

HERE'S HOW TO #SUGARSWAP
Swap 1 cup of refined sugar for ½ - ⅔ a cup of honey, and reduce liquid by about 1/4 cup (honey contains 20% water) or swap 1 cup refined sugar for ¾ a cup of maple syrup.

Which is why we’re so excited to come together now for Sugar Swap 2026.

By combining Julie’s evidence-based nutrition expertise and educational resources - including her book Becoming Sugar-Free ( add link)  with Dutchman’s Gold’s beehive-based ingredients, we’re here to help make reducing refined sugar feel approachable, sustainable, and empowering.
