Swap out refined sugars for natural to improve your health and start the year off right!

We invite you to join our Sugar Swap challenge for a chance to win weekly prizes including honey and maple syrup from Dutchman's Gold.  Guiding us on this wellness adventure is Angela, nutritionist, mom, and co-owner of Dutchman’s Gold. She has designed the Sugar Swap challenge to make a significant impact on your well-being, helping you and your family live healthier lives as we swap out refined sugars, and replace them with healthy, natural alternatives! 

WHAT IS THE SUGAR SWAP?

You're going to swap out processed sugars for natural, healthy sources like unpasteurized honey and maple syrup.  Why?  Because making this swap may increase energy, improve immune system function and more. After the typical overindulgence over the holidays, we find January to be a wonderful month to start new habits that will stack up and elevate your overall health.  

HOW TO PARTICIPATE AND WIN 

Participation is easier than ever:

  1. Watch this: Dutchman's Gold Sugar Swap
  2. Then, follow us on social media,like and share our posts.
  3. Next, swap out the refined sugar in ALL of your favorite drinks, recipes, baking and cooking. 
  4. THEN, share your sugar swaps and ensure you tag @dutchmansgold and #sugarswap in a video or post on your social media account. 
  5. That's it!  We'll pick a winner each week to win full size honey & maple products starting January 1st until February 14th 2025. Posts will be selected at random weekly!

WHY SHOULD YOU #Sugarswap? 

Simple! Swapping refined sugar for pure, unpasteurized Canadian honey or maple syrup offers a range of benefits. Cutting refined sugars can significantly improve your nutrition, especially when replaced with whole foods like fruits, vegetables, nuts, fish, and whole grains.

HERE'S HOW TO #SUGARSWAP

Swap 1 cup of refined sugar for ½ - ⅔ a cup of honey, and reduce liquid by about 1/4 cup (honey contains 20% water) or swap 1 cup refined sugar for ¾ a cup of maple syrup.
